Just swipe up from the bottom of the display to access the Dock. Tap to switch apps instantly, customize it with your favorites, or open recently used apps or files.
 
Multitask in multiple ways.
While working in one app, you can open a second app directly from the Dock. Drag it to the left or right side, and both apps will remain active in Slide Over as well as Split View.
 
Drag and Drop with just a touch.
Press down and hold to move text, photos, and files from one app to another — into folders, email, messages, or just about anywhere on the screen.
 
 
Make your mark. Like never before.
Use your finger or Apple Pencil to sign documents, annotate PDFs, or draw on a screenshot. And with Apple Pencil, simply tap the Lock screen of iPad Pro to start taking notes.

Access all your files from any device.
Easily browse, search, and organize all your files with the new Files app. Within the app, you can access files in iCloud Drive and across other services like Box and Dropbox.

Swipe up from the bottom to
the center of the display to get to Control Center. You can set custom controls for the things you do most, or use 3D Touch to unlock more options.
Visit the redesigned App Store.

Explore a new reality.
iOS is the world's biggest platform for augmented reality. You can digitally redecorate your home, see a city you've never visited, or walk with dinosaurs. Like never before, apps can go beyond the screen to create even more immersive experiences.
Send and receive money with a message.
In Messages, tap Apple Pay to send money to a friend (or request it) instantly and securely. Keep your money in Apple Pay Cash in the Wallet app, spend it in stores, in apps, and on the web — or transfer it to your bank account.1
